Ganghwa Peace Observatory
If you drive along Jayuro (freedom road) from Seoul, after around 40 minutes, you will see the 122m-high Odu Mountain located at the place where the Han River of Seoul meets the Im-jin River flowing down from North Korea.
In September 1992, the Unification Observatory was built so that people could view the site of the only divided nation in the world. You can see North Korean peoples at their livelihood, agricultural scenes, and North Korean soldiers all in sight.
