Welcome to tourdmz.com!

Korea was liberated from Japan on August 15th, 1945. Korea, however, was divided as a result of the two conflicting ideologies between the South and the North - democracy in South Korea and communism in North Korea. As such, the North initiated the Korean War on June 25th, 1950 that led to the continued separation of the Korean people.
The Korean War lasted just over 3 years. The division of the nation and the confrontation between ideologies went from bad to worse. The War became the cause for division of the two Koreas and led to the signing of the Armistice Agreement on July 27th, 1953, which in turn led to the creation of the 4km wide and 241km long DMZ or demilitarized zone.
Since January 1, 1998 our company, as an international cultural exchange organization, has worked towards contributing to the development and building of relations between foreigners and Koreans through various sports events, tours and cultural exchange programs.
We are supported by the United Nations Command (Headquarters) and North Gyeonggi Tourism Conference Northern Gyeonggi Tourism Conference and all of our staff work hard so that people can observe the scars of the War and learn about the importance of freedom and peace on the Korean peninsula.
  We sincerely need your assistance.

  Thank you very much!

Hur, "Ben" Wook-Dong
