Purpose
The ROK/ US Joint Marine Corps played an integral role in recapturing Seoul with the Han River crossing operation. Therefore to commemorate their brilliant services, the monument was built on 28 Sept 1958. The Marine Corps Headquarters reconstructed the monument on 28 Sept 1984. |
