Several North Korean soldiers attacked a US transport vehicle on the way to the Panmunjom.
When it was attacked, the 3/4ton truck was around 800m south of the Joint Security Area of the Panmunjeom. North Korean soldiers attacked with automatic weapons and 2 granade which resulted in the death of 2 US soldiers and 4 KATUSA soldiers. Another two US soldiers were seriously injured.
