South-North Dialogue (in the North) |
Built in August 1985 as a conference hall, Tongilgak is comparable to the Peace House in the southern portion of Panmunjom.
Starting in May 1992, it has been serving as the North Korean ¡®South and North Liaison Office¡¯ and hosted most of the inter-Korean talks or contacts held in the northern portion of Panmunjom. Since it is located about 100meters northwest of Panmungak, it is not easily visible to the naked eye.
